Go to the grocery store, squeeze the vegetables, think of me

"Go to the grocery store, squeeze the vegetables and think of me."

Seriously, someone told me that just last year.
Do I really look or act that stupid?? (It's best not
to answer this, it's a trick question).

I went to bed last night and couldn't stop thinking
about this. I kept giggling!! I was still laughing
about it today. Giggling and laughing over the utter
foolishness of a remark such as this, etc.
It's funny what comes back to you at certain moments.
(or maybe it's just me - LOL!).

Blings

Gawd I love the people I can trade 'blings' (insults, I made
up the word) with. It takes a special person to be able to
do that, and you know you are soul friends when it happens.
I have 2 people in my life I can fling some blings with, there
used to be 3 but sadly one of them died. The last
conversation I had with the one that passed away a year
ago went something like this: him - "Hey Molly you
look really fat in that shirt." me - "I hate you." ~smack
in the arm~

The other two people I can do it with - one is in professional
sports. This was the start of the phone conversation the last time
we talked -
"Hey Molly this is Don*"
"Who?"
"Don, you know...Don"
"I don't know any Don, sorry."
"This is DON DAMMIT!"
"Oh you mean Don?"
"Dammit Molly!"
"DON! You haven't changed a bit!"

And the third person is the president of a very powerful
national organization (see a previous post). Most people
know him as all wearing a suit and business like, I do
not. Our last phone conversation:
me - "Hello?"
him - "Who's this?"
me - "Who are you calling?"
him - "Well who is this?"
"Are you someone I should know?"
"Well I'm calling the ~insert last name~ residence."
"So?"
"Well who is this?"
"Who do you think it is?"
"Is your name Molly?"
"No"
laughing.
me - "How are you?"......

I've got the answer!

Have MJ's body mounted (think Roy Rogers and Trigger here).
Put it behind glass.
Open Neverland Ranch back up and charge some ridiculous
admission price. Each year give the proceeds to a different
greedy person who was in MJ's life and now wants a cut of the
money.
Problem solved.

Why?

It's hard sometimes. I just do not
understand why people have to be the
way they are. As long as I don't know them
I accept it, but if I know them that means
I have put my trust and energies into the
relationship, and I don't get it. I don't get
why people feel the need to lie, to treat others
in their life like crap some times, nice others,
why they need to pretend to be something
they are not, why they sell out, why they're
shallow, and why they feel the need to treat
someone, anyone, with disrespect. And
what ever do they feel gives them the right
to even try to tell another how to live their
life or what to do? And judge, why is it up
to people to judge another? That isn't our job.
Wow that's a tall order. I just don't want anything
to do with phony people, with liars. Through
the years I have tried very very hard to keep
my integrity intact. I try very very hard to
lead a life that is honest and clean. I try to
not be judgemental, not be bossy, not be
demanding. I am who I am not matter who I
am around - and that is the honest to goodness
truth. I am not into political correctness, lying,
or hiding my true self. I am here, like me or not,
it really doesn't matter.
I believe the judging is not up to us, it is up to
a higher power. I believe pretending to be something
one is not, or selling yourself out, will get you nowhere.
That is why I absolutely do not trust anyone easily.
That is why it takes me a long time to feel respect
for someone. Then once I get there I am vulnerable
if that person is not what I believe them to be. How sad,
for me, not for them. They go on with life happy as
a clam, continuing the pattern. Their time will come,
only I will not be the one doing the judging.
Another thing that gets me - I am one of those that
says if we have an issue let's hash it out right now.
The childishness of people who are moody and
refuse to address the issue is pathetic. Get it out
in the open so everyone feels better, don't act like
you belong in grade school again. But sadly
over the years I have learned there ARE superficial
and hollow people in the world, and that to
some it DOES matter who you are and what
you can do for me, not what has been already
shared or once was.
I just chose not to be this type of person. I am who
I am and I don't care if I am the only one like me
left on the planet (I know I am not). The fault
lies with me sometimes for misjudging people as
being honest and sincere when all the signs are
there that they are anything but. I will learn
and try very hard not to make the same mistake
again in the future.

About people

I group everyone in to catagories. Those I don't like
(majority), those I don't like but tolerate for whatever
reason, and those I like. If I like you you will know it
as I babble incessantly at times about nothing (so sorry).
But learning from people in all three catagories is so
interesting....I learn patience, understanding, and
forgiveness. I learn my own strengths and weaknesses.
I learn through one how to tolerate another. I am
forever learning from people. Those I like I love dearly,
and they probably know it. I am an all for nothing type
person. I think people in general are here on earth to
teach us. Those that are crossing our life are doing so
for a reason. I know all types of people and am so glad
(of the ones I like) for all I have learned. Thanks for
crossing my path! :) FYI this blog is unlisted and is not
searchable in a search engine. If you are viewing this blog
it is because I either invited you or someone I invited sent
you a link. Told ya I am private! I do NOT have a site
meter on this site and have no idea who is on here reading
what, and I do allow anonymous comments. I HOPE you
sign your name after, but you don't have to! :)
