The last minute dash

You know.
Stuff you forgot about that you wanted to get someone
for Christmas. Can you find it locally? If not, can it
be delivered on time? That stuff.
The Christmas cards - have you forgotten anyone?
Will you get a card just a day or two before Christmas
from someone you forgot? Then if you send a card back
they KNOW you had forgotten them, and were just mailing
them a card cuz they sent you one.
Is everything wrapped and out of it's hiding places?
Did we get the stocking stuff? Did we remember ......
......................................................
......................................................

There's still time, but it's ticking away.
What were we going to bring to that holiday dinner?
When were we going to make it?

And, if you're spending the holidays with family,
Don't forget the alcohol!!!

Just stamp 'stupid' on my forehead

I'm going Christmas shopping tomorrow.
I hate shopping and do most of it online.
I rarely go into our Wal-Mart or other chains.

And NOW they're talking the POSSIBILITY of SNOW
on Wednesday. That means every person in the
town will be at the stores to buy ten gallons
of milk each!! Doesn't matter that it could be
less than a quarter of an inch of the white
stuff, doesn't matter that the chance of that
happening are not more than 50%, just matters
that it's SNOW.
~Might as well tear my hair out now~

Oh.
And why is it that I couldn't find the wrapping
paper anywhere in the shed after looking and
searching several times?? Then my husband can
get a flashlight and IN THE DARK go right to it?
I hate it when that happens!

Tiger, Tiger Tiger....

...Woods that is.
Some immediate thoughts:

*Well, at least it gives the media something to
talk about other than that couple that crashed
the party at the White House!

*NEVER piss off a woman.

*Why would she give a story about going back in the
house to get a golf club? Why not go back in the
house to get the extra keys?

*NEVER piss off a woman.

*Why is he allowed to keep canceling the police
interviews? Do we all have that right?

*NEVER piss off a woman.

*Was a blood test done after the crash testing
for alcohol and or drugs?

*NEVER piss off a woman.

I am thankful for the ability (most times) to see the brighter
side of things. While it could certainly be better, I know in
any situation it can always be worse! And while I cannot prevent
what happened in the past, I can however learn from it and
prevent the same mistakes in the future!
